Nanaimo has doubled in size since I was born – and despite the hard work and energy of long-time residents and new arrivals alike, our city has yet to reach its full potential.
Election after election, we have voted for the same party and been taken for granted again and again. It’s past time for Nanaimo to get its fair share as the largest city on Vancouver Island and one of the fastest-growing in British Columbia.
That’s why I’ve come forward to run as the BC Liberal candidate in the January 30th by-election. I’ll work closely with Mayor Krog and the new team at City Hall to bring the investments Nanaimo needs and deserves: a rapid commuter ferry service, a new ICU for our hospital, and expanded cancer care for our community and region…and so much more.
Nanaimo is on the verge of reaching its full potential – and this by-election is an opportunity to get us there. That’s why I’m asking for your vote!
